Dale Zarella
Dale Zarrella is a young artist in years, but seldom does an artist master so many mediums. Wood, stone, and bronze sculptures are represented as well as paintings on canvas. He has made the Island of Maui his home and inspiration for his incredible life’s work. Dale has graciously donated his artwork for the commemorative coins. The 2010 coin has "Follow your Dreams" on the front and "Paradise Maui" on the back. In 2011, Dale choose "Family of the Wa`a" for the front and "Paradise Maui" on the back.
