Each year the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise works on a variety of community, youth and international projects. To fund these, we have planned a number of fundraising events.  Ongoing will be our Commemorative Coin.  Please click on each event as they are posted on the blue bar and that click will take you to an information page and the Paypal link.

Below are some of the projects that our fundraising efforts have supported during the 2010-11 year:

• Community Service

  • Support for Hale Kau Kau Feeding the Needy and Homeless program
  • Hawaiian Humpback Whale Foundation - site improvements
  • Food Drives for Maui Food Bank
  • Gift cards, cash and Christmas tree for a family-in-need for the Holidays
• Youth Service
  • Dictionaries for 3rd graders – two schools
  • Newspapers in Education – Maui News
  • Ethics Program for 2^nd Graders – two schools, three programs at each school
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp
  • Books from Speakers to two school libraries
  • Doris Capanash/Pat Corbett Scholarship to graduate of Kihei Charter HS
  • Keiki Cupboard – School supplies for students in need
  • South Maui Children Youth Faire - provided a free book for every child attending
• International Service
  • Funding for a Dialysis Machine in Thailand
  • Funding for eye surgeries in Nuh, India
  • Funding for books for 67 schools in rural Thailand
  • Orphan Shelter in Russia
  • Funds for Japan Tsunami relief
  • Host Club for GSE Team from Egypt
