Kihei Sunrise Rotary - Fundraisers

Each year the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise works on a variety of community, youth and international projects. To fund these, we have planned a number of fundraising events. Community Service
- Support for Hale Kau Kau Feeding the Needy and Homeless program
- Hawaiian Humpback Whale Foundation - site improvements
- Adoption of an additional park in Kihei
- School Supply Drive for Kamali’i & Kihei Elementary Schools
- Food Drives for Maui Food Bank
- Financial support for Boys and Girls Club of Mau
Youth Service
- Dictionaries Gradesfor 3rd graders – two schools
- Newspapers in Education – Maui News
- Ethics Program for 2^nd Graders – two schools
- Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp
- Books from Speakers to two school libraries
- Doris Capanash/Pat Corbett Scholarships – 2 to graduates of Kihei Charter HS
- Keiki Cupboard – School supplies for students in need
International Service
- Funding for a Dialysis Machine in Thailand
- Funding for eye surgeries in Nuh, India
- Funding for books for 67 schools in rural Thailand
- Orphan Shelter in Russia
